About the event
Born in Berlin, Germany in 1927, Helga will share the desperate conditions she endured, during the reign of the Nazi regime and her fight to stay alive through the most infamous death camp, Auschwitz and other hard labor camps. After liberation at only sixteen years of age, she weighed only forty six lbs. and was completely alone in a foreign country. Despite the horror and suffering in her life, Helga refuses to let hatred in her heart and shares her story all around the world.
